Panhandle Gives event benefits Childress Helping Hands

Now through Tuesday, Nov. 29, the Amarillo Area Foundation is hosting The Panhandle Gives, an annual event that raises money for Panhandle non-profits, such as Childress Helping Hands. All donations raised during The Panhandle Gives goes to Childress Helping Hands, and if Childress Helping Hands raises at least $250 during the campaign, they will receive a percentage match of the total amount of the Amplification Fund.

Childress Helping Hands is dedicated to providing emergency financial aid for those who are financially struggling, sick or elderly in Childress County with things such as rent, utilities, clothing and food. The non-profit has also partnered with the New4U Thrift Store and the Food4U Food Pantry.
