Hospital received clean audit report; shows net income for December

ALTUS – During Monday’s Jackson County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees meeting, Jessica Elsberry presented the Annual Audit Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022. The audit was an unmodified, clean audit and was approved by the board as presented.
Casey Miranda then reported from the JCMH outreach clinics saying that there were a total of 199 admissions and 321 outpatient surgeries and observations contributed to JCMH for the month of December, 2022.
Dr. Rebecca Sager reported from the Medical Executive Staff Committee meeting that was held on January 9. The board approved initial appointments and reappointments as recommended by the Medical Staff.
Barbara Brooks reported the JCMH Financials for the month of December resulting in a net income of $404,093.
Items presented during the management report included JCMH being officially DNV accredited; that recruitment efforts are continuing for the physician positions of OB/GYN, Pediatrician and Hospitalist; and Steve Hartgraves discussed an opportunity for JCMH to partner with other hospitals, due to the changes in Managed Medicaid becoming effective in April of 2024.
