ALTUS, OK – Altus Parks and Recreation has organized several upcoming activities to keep kids active this coming week for Spring Break. Activities include kite building and flying, a scavenger hunt and more. Monday, March 13’s activity will be Kite Building and Flying at the Altus City Gym and Cole Height’s Park on Katy Drive. The event will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM.
A Family Field Day will be held on Tuesday, March 14 filled with games and activities at Southwest Park, 700 W. Pecan from 11 AM to 1 PM. Wednesday will be a Storytime with a Scavenger Hunt at the Altus City Gym. There will be two different sessions, one at 11 AM and the other at 12 PM.
Thursday, March 16 will be Big Truck Day in the Western Oklahoma State College parking lot from 11 AM to 1 PM. Get close to big trucks, service vehicles, tractors and more.
Friday’s event will be a Movie at the Altus City Gym. Come see the Minions movie starting at 11 AM.
