MEDICINE PARK (OK) – The 24th annual Polar Bear Plunge is set to take place in Medicine Park (OK) Feb. 5.  This week-long event is a Winter Chautauqua designed for all ages and a variety of interests.

   It kicks off with the Polar Fiesta at El Sabores on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 6:30 PM and ends with the 24th annual Polar Bear Plunge on Feb. 5 at 2:00 PM.

   There are many different events throughout town including live music, educational lectures, dance and theatrical performances, a high tea, family events and of course parties at the Tavern.

Feb. 5 – Saturday – THE PLUNGE!

   The 24th Annual Polar Bear Plunge is hosted by The Park Tavern. Liquid courage is available starting at 10 AM. All plungers should meet at the Tavern by 1:45 PM to participate in the parade to Bath Lake that starts at 2 PM. Costumes, weirdness and positive vibes strongly encouraged. Spectators are welcome and the party continues after the plunge. Bring your own towel!
