Childress ISD Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Jason Sims confirmed rumors in a social media post Wednesday his position has been reassigned within Childress ISD. In the post Sims said, “I appreciate all my time at Childress.It’s been a great ride. It’s truly blindsiding for this to happen but I know God has a plan and I will follow Him.” 

Sims has been the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for Childress since January 2015.   Childress ISD Superintendent Carl Taylor has not made an official announcement or comment.
