On April 22, the Memphis Cyclone band performed at the Heartland Music Festival in Oklahoma City. Here they received a sweepstakes with Division 1 superior rating. The great thing about Heartland is that they give out individual and section awards. Shaylee Rose received best mallet percussionist. They also received best tuba, and percussion sections.
