The Childress City Council will hold two called sessions on Monday, Aug. 29, starting at 5:55 PM in Council chambers at City Hall, 315 Commerce. On the first agenda is a public hearing on budget and tax rates for the 2022-2023 fiscal year.

The following agenda includes a review of the Childress Heritage Museum and Municipal Development District projects and budgets, followed by the Fair Park clean up initiative north of the tennis courts, review of the Main Street and Chamber of Commerce projects and budget, and the City Attorney’s contract.
