The Wellington EMS will be hosting a Basic EMT Class starting Oct. 18 at 6 PM at the Wellington EMS barn, 703 Ft. Worth Street in Wellington.

Classes will be every Tuesday from 6 to 10 PM and Saturdays 8 AM to noon and one Saturday a month from 8 AM to 5 PM.

You must be able to pass a drug screen and background check, provide shot records,

must have a valid drivers license and must turn 18 by June 2023 to able to take your National Registry. You must also graduate high school or obtain a GED before taking the National Registry.

Cost of the class includes a textbook, clinical paperwork, uniform shirt and clinical name tag, drug screen and background check.
