Kik it Up program offered at Altus Library

The Great Plains Literacy Council, the Southern Prairie Library System, and the OSU Extension Services is offering “Kik it Up,” a FREE program taught by OSU Extension Educator, Shelly Mullens.

Kik it Up is an after-school program for kids ages 6 to 15 years and their families. This program will encourage kids to eat healthier snacks that they can prepare for themselves and their families.

Please join us Thursday, Sept. 15 at 4 PM at the Altus Public Library, 421 N. Hudson.

The Great Plains Literacy Council and the Southern Prairie Library System are co-sponsoring a series of Health and Wellness programs to encourage and promote healthy lifestyles in southwest Oklahoma. “Financial assistance for these special projects is made possible with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.” Additional funding is provided by a Southwest Rural Electric Operation Round Up grant and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.
