Main Street Altus’ Farm Fest and Chili Cook-Off will be held Saturday, October 29 on the Jackson County Courthouse Square.

Registration and setup will be from 10 to 11 AM. Those participating in the Chili Cook-Off are encouraged to decorate their booths, and those attending the event can buy tasting cups to try all the chili in the contest. Tasting cups are only $5. Contests will also be in place for barbecue and salsa.

There will also be many vendors, attractions, farm displays and more for a day of fun on the historic downtown Altus square with festivities starting at 11 AM.

Spectators can enjoy tasting chili beginning at 11 AM with official judging also at 11 AM for the Chili, BBQ, Salsa and booths that are competing for the Spirit Awards. ​Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded for first, second and third in each category.

Live entertainment will also playing through 2 PM.
