A special election will be held at the Childress City Council Chambers at City Hall, 315 Commerce Street in downtown Childress on Tuesday, Nov. 8. There will be 29 propositions on the ballot, all proposing changes to the current city charter. The last revision to the city charter was in the 1980’s.

Polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM on Nov. 8, with early voting taking place from 8 AM to 5 PM on weekdays beginning Monday, Oct. 24 through Friday, Nov. 4.
