Early voting for this year’s upcoming midterm election began Oct. 24 and will end tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 4. To early vote in Childress, go to the law library upstairs at the Childress County Courthouse.

Any registered voter may vote early in person at any voting location. You may request a ballot by mail for any of the following reasons:

• If you’ll be away from your county on election day and during the hours that early voting is conducted
• If you’re sick, disabled or expect to give birth within three weeks before or after election day
• If you’re age 65 or older on election day
• If you’re confined in jail or involuntary civil commitment
