The 10th Annual Turkey Giveaway 2022, hosted by the Altus Bulldog Youth Football program, 5-80 Rise AAU basketball teams, and D&D Sports Management, will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 22 starting at 5 PM. If you need a turkey, or know someone who does for Thanksgiving, come get one at Mr. Bill’s Gas and Food,401 W. Broadway in Altus. Just bring an ID. Just one turkey per household please, as they teach kids how to give back to their community one turkey at a time.

Along with the turkey giveaway, there will be hotdogs from Bar-S and bacon on behalf of Tyson’s Food in Vernon. Some canned goods, desserts on behalf of the families of the youth athletes and Nova’ Bakery will be offered.

Turkeys are being provided by Walmart and UNITE Supermarkets, but anyone is welcome to donate.
