The FOP Lodge #120 will be hosting their 1st annual “Cops & Cars” Car Show and Poker Run event on Saturday, Oct. 8 starting at 9 AM in Hangar 36 at the City of Altus Airport.

The car show will be indoors and there will be several categories for makes/models of vehicles and also a category for motorcycles.

The “Best of Show” winner will receive $1,000 and a plaque. The “Best of Show” is sponsored this year by Wilmes Superstore. There will be money and a plaque given to the 1st Place winners in each division and the 2nd Place winners will receive a plaque.

There will also be a Poker Run for the motorcycle enthusiasts that morning. The first bike will leave out at 9 AM.

Also as part of the event, there will be live performances from the “Biskitheadz” band, several food trucks, vendors, huge bouncy houses, a dunk tank and more for lots of family fun. There will be a special K9 presentation by Officer Deante Harris and K9 Kevlar, and event T-shirts will be available for sale.

All proceeds from this event help support FOP community programs like “Cops & Kids Christmas,” “Spookytown” and other programs.
