Those wanting to get assistance for children’s Christmas gifts can apply this week for the Project Noel program. Applications are being taken at the Jackson County Department of Human Services, 201 S. Main in Altus, through Friday, Nov. 4 between the hours of 9-11:30 AM and 1:30-4 PM. Only one person per household will be allowed to enter the building to apply, and face masks are required. Those applying should have a form of ID for each person in the household, and proof of Jackson County residency.
