The City of Altus will be offering a cooling station at the Altus Community Center on Falcon Road Tuesday, July 19 from noon to 8 PM. This is an opportunity for people seeking relief from the heat to have a cool place to sit and relax. There will be no programs or activities, but the Salvation Army will be on hand to serve water.
