Physician recruitment and development of the provider pipeline are the ‘key ingredients’ for continued sustainability and growth, which includes participation in programs like this one. In 2015, our Board proposed a growth strategy, which included aggressive recruitment of physicians, to serve the growing health care needs of our community. Between 2015 and 2020, we successfully recruited 33 physicians for full-time practice in Altus. Our medical staff is highly-engaged with the communities they serve. They are also committed to our continued growth effort through various opportunities, including mentoring new professionals to the field. Dr. Hokett’s willingness to mentor is a big part of this effort.”
