Mark Dykes has been named the new Childress ISD Superintendent of Schools. Dykes has served the past six years as the Superintendent of Collinsville ISD, and has taught high school agriculture science.

Dykes has also served as Assistant Superintendent, High School Principal, and Assistant High School Principal over nine years.

Dykes is devoted to student achievement and expanding learning opportunities for all students.
