ALTUS, OK – Altus Police investigated, and later arrested, a man in connection with an early Saturday morning burglary at the Altus Christian Academy, 1220 North Grady. Police were notified by Christian Academy Staff at around 10:30 AM of the crime. The suspect broke a window on the north side of the building to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect is captured on surveillance video. While inside the school, the suspect broke multiple windows, damaged and ransacked administrative offices. The suspect, Calab Elder, 24, was found walking in the 900 block of North Main at around 7:15 PM Saturday evening. Investigators interviewed and later arrested Elder on charges of Second Degree Burglary and Damage to Property. Elder is being held at the Jackson County Jail.
