A ground breaking ceremony was held Wednesday for the new HTeaO franchise being built by Childress native and resident Vandon Vest. Vest hopes to see the opening of the franchise in late September or early October.
HTeaO is a “Born In Texas” business offering freshly brewed coffee and all-natural, organic teas using a double reverse osmossis system for their water and ice, making their drinks taste even better.
Vest said that customers can choose from any of their 18 flavors of hot or cold tea, or combination of teas. “There will be tasting cups available for people to try the different flavors and choose their favorite or favorites. You can also mix flavors and add in seasonal fruits such as lemons, limes, blueberries, strawberries, oranges and fresh mint leafs from their fruit bar.
Vest said that you can get your teas regular or sweetened with pure cane sugar or other sweetener alternatives.
According to Vest, HTeaO will be serving great coffee, teas and specialty vendor food items in a fun and exciting environment playing lots of Texas Country music on the speakers. “It will be a cool atmosphere – not stuffy,” he said.
HTeaO will be open seven days a week from 7 AM to 9 PM and will have a unique two-drive thru option. “We wanted to make it easy for those driving the big trucks, so there will a regular vehicle drive-through, as well as a drive through for the big truck and trailer drivers,” said Vest. “The lot will be big enough for trucks to park if they want to come in and enjoy some tea or coffee,” he added.
Aside from single servings of your favorite fresh brewed teas, you can also get 1/2 gallon and gallon containers of tea. HTeaO will have varieties ready to go, or you can have them custom mix your favorite flavors from combos such as coconut and mint, to variety mixes of wild raspberry, Georgia Peach, Blueberry, Watermelon and more.
“I’m so excited to bring this to my hometown of Childress,” said Vest. “We don’t normally get this type of business in our small town, but we will be serving the entire area with fresh brewed beverages that no one else in the area can.”
HTeaO will be located off of 287 across from the Pak-A- Sak in Childress.
