Public Notice
The Hardeman County Commissioners Court will meet in regular session on August 23, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. in the County Commissioners Courtroom, County Courthouse, 300 Main Street, Quanah, Texas. The following items will be considered. These subjects may or may not be discussed in the order shown.
- Call to Order
- Public Comment
- Consider adoption of the 2021-2022 budget
- Consider setting salaries, expenses and other allowances of all elected county officials, precinct officers and county employees by adoption of an order of the Commissioners Court
- “Public hearing” concerning proposed tax rate reflected in the 2021-2022 budget
- Consider ratifying the property tax rate reflected in the 2021-2022 budget
- Consider adoption of the 2021-2022 tax rate by resolution
- Consider appointment of county election precinct presiding and alternate judges, appoint central counting station judges and clerks
- Consider EMS Report for July 2021
- Consider minutes of last meeting
- Consider request from county clerk to increase fee for an assumed name certificate
- Consider Terms of Engagement with Edgin, Parkman, Fleming & Fleming, Pc for 2021 audit
- Consider purchase of extractor and dryer for Volunteer Fire Department from American Rescue Plan funds
- Pay bills
- Adjourn
Pursuant to the authority granted under Government Code, Chapter 551, the Commissioner’s Court may convene a closed session to discuss any of the above agenda items. Immediately before any closed session, the specific section or sections of Government Code, Chapter 551 that provides statutory authority will be announced.
