Coach Billy Hutchinson will be the new high school history and social studies teacher at Paducah ISD beginning with the 2022-2023 school year. He will also be the assistant football and basketball coach for the Dragons this next year in addition to being the golf coach. Coach Hutchinson is currently employed at TXDOT and owns and manages the family farming operation. Coach Hutchinson is no stranger to Paducah ISD as he served in many capacities previously at Paducah from 2001 to 2016. During that time period, he taught secondary social studies, coached multiple sports, and served as the athletic director and the principal. He has also previously taught and coached at Meadow ISD for five years. While at Meadow, he taught secondary social studies and served as the athletic director and football coach. Coach Hutchinson graduated from Paducah High School in 1987 and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas Tech University in 1993. He then went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Lubbock Christian University in 2009.
