ALTUS, OK – The Jackson County Junior Livestock Show will got underway this morning at the Expo Center. Ag Mechanics judging was set for 9 AM. Weighing in of meat goat and sheet were from 8 to 10 AM, swine from 8 AM to noon, beef from 9 to 11 AM. Judging of breeding and market lambs will be at 5 PM, followed by meat goats.
Judging of gilts and barrows will be at 9 AM on Saturday, and heifer and steer judging will be at 1 PM on Sunday.
Monday will be the livestock judging contest at 8:30 AM with the buyers dinner and premium sale starting at 5 PM.
