The Childress County Heritage Museum is holding their 4th annual Photography Contest fund raiser. The contest will be divided into four categories: People, Places, Animals/Insects, and Things. Each entry must be submitted in one of the categories for judging. This years special category is Sports.

All categories will also be divided into one of four groups: Elementary School, Junior High School, High School, and Adults.

All photographs will be judged by artistic members of the community and awards will be given in each group and category.

All entries must be submitted to the Museum no later than Oct. 15.

All photographs will be on display in the Museum gallery until Nov. 2. All award winning photographs will be displayed int he Museum until the 2023 contest.

All photographs must be taken by the person entering the photograph in the contest. Photographs must be 8×10 in size and un-framed. All photographs must be accompanied by an entry form which can be obtained from the Museum or their Facebook page.

You can visit the museum and vote for your favorite photograph beginning Oct. 18.
