OHP to conduct DUI checkpoints New Year’s Eve

Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s ENDUI team will partner with law enforcement agencies across the state to conduct DUI checkpoints and provide extra patrol for New Year’s Eve to crack down on impaired drivers.

This is part of the National Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over effort, OHP officials said. Additional deputies, troopers, and officers will be on duty statewide as well.

Oklahomans are urged to find a safe ride by calling a sober driver, using a cab, Uber, Lyft, or any other rideshare service, or having a designated driver.
