On Wednesday, May 11 staff, family, and friends of 2022 Paducah ISD retirees Karen Elliott and Carrie Smith packed the PISD Library to wish them a happy retirement.

Mrs. Elliott currently teaches first grade and has taught at PISD for 24 Years (1988-1995)(2006-2022).

Mrs. Smith currently teaches 4th-8th grade Science and has taught at PISD for 28 Years (1994-2022). She taught a total of 29 years overall as she taught at Amarillo Montessori Academy in the 1993-1994 school year.

Paducah ISD will greatly miss both of these amazing teachers smiling faces every day, but wish them the best in retirement and their future endeavors.
