Quanah ISD’s PTO is sponsoring a “Color Our Community” 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 20, kicking off at 8 AM in the Quanah City Park.
Bring the entire family and support your local PTO group with a color-covered 5K run/walk around town.
T-Shirts can be purchased through The Tumbleweed at 205 W 3rd St. in Quanah, TX, but if you do not plan on purchasing a T-Shirt for the event please wear a white shirt. Contact Jenny Jo Martin at 940-839-5057 for T-shirt orders.
The top two runners will be awarded in each age category. Age Categories will be: PreK-5th grade, Junior High (6th-8th grade), High school (9th-12th grade), Ages 19-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, and 55+.
Award will also be given for BEST DRESSED in the following categories:
Elementary, Junior High, High School, and 1 Adult
The Texas Department of Transportation, Sheriff’s Department, and EMS will be on hand for the security and safety of the runners and volunteers.
