BOIL WATER NOTICE AFTER REPAIRED

According to the City of Quanah Utilities Department, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad hit the 6″ water line into Quanah this morning, putting the city without water. The City said the railroad had identified all of the local area water lines except for theirs, and hit the line under the tracks this morning.

The City said it will still be several hours before the line is fixed and water restored. They also said that Quanah will be under a boil notice after the repairs are made.
