Undersheriff Stacy Randolph has been sworn in by Judge Brad Leverett and is now the Sheriff of Jackson County. Commissioners voted to appoint Randolph to finish out the term when Roger Levick retired mid-term.

Sheriff Randolph is a life long resident of Jackson County and has 20 years of Law Enforcement experience, all of which are with the Jackson County Sheriffs Office. Sheriff Randolph as served as a jailer, deputy, Jail Administrator and was the Undersheriff for 10 years. Sheriff Randolph has been instrumental in many of the changes the county has seen recently to include the relocation of the County Courthouse while renovations are being made to the historic courthouse on the downtown square. Sheriff Randolph has held many position on various boards having to do with our youth.

Randolph is a big supporter of our local 4H and FFA and has always been there to lend a helping hand to any kid needing help. Most recently Sheriff Randolph partnered up with Altus Public Schools as well as other surrounding schools, courthouse and churches and gave instruction on Active Shooter training.

One of the last lines of former Sheriff LeVicks retirement speech was “ I know I am leaving the county in good hands with Stacy Randolph” and his employees agree with this statement. Congratulations to the new Sheriff.”

On Friday, Sept 30, 2022 Sheriff Roger LeVick retired. LeVick served Jackson County for 17 years and 15 of those were as Sheriff. Sheriff LeVick took great pride in his elected position and truly cared about the citizens in Jackson County. Sheriff LeVick has also held various position on the state level with the Oklahoma Sheriffs Association.
