The Oklahoma Blood Institute says that blood donors are needed now. The holiday season is notoriously hard on the community blood supply. There are two upcoming blood drive in Altus, one at WalMart on Saturday, Dec. 17 from11 AM to 3 PM, and one at the Senior Citizens Center e on Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 12:30 to 5:30 PM. Donate blood for a chance to win a $250 Visa gift card. A winner is drawn daily! Donors will also receive their choice of a long-sleeved holiday T-shirt as well as a holiday ornament. Donors at the Senior Citizen’s Center drive will be put into a drawing for a gift basket full of gift certificates including a $200 Visa gift card.
