U.S. Highway 287 northbound traffic south of Memphis will be reduced to a single lane by the end of the day on Friday. Crews will begin placing concrete barrier in preparation for two-way traffic on the U.S. Highway 287 re-alignment project.
Drivers are reminded to be work zone aware when traveling through the area. Reduce your speed, obey all posted warnings and reduce distractions in your vehicle.
The $13.4 million project is expected to take two years to complete.
