The Vernon Chamber of Commerce is seeking business leaders interested and willing to dedicate their time, energy, and expertise, to serve on the Board of Directors. Candidates must be willing to serve up to a three-year term beginning in January 2022. Nominations are considered based on an individual’s accomplishments, contributions, and dedication to the local community.
The Chamber Board of Directors annually considers nominations to maintain a board composition of 15 directors to represent the Chamber membership. Currently, the chamber is seeking candidates to fill five vacancies.
The Board of Directors is vested as the governing body of the Vernon Chamber of Commerce and will determine the objectives, policies and activities/events, as well as, ensure the fiscal responsibility of the Chamber. Directors are expected to attend monthly meetings, organize and participate in community events, and make themselves available for special meetings and events throughout the year.
Interested individuals should submit nominations to the Vernon Chamber of Commerce. Nominees must be an employee or owner of a Chamber member business.
