The Lady Cats hosted the Crossroads Classic Tournament September 2-4 and won the tournament without dropping a single set. They play tonight at home against Burkburnett starting at 4:00 p.m.
Quanah
The Lady Indians opened the week with a road win at Electra in 5 sets (25-23, 34-32, 21-25, 22-25, 15-8). They continued play at the Crossroads Classic Tournament in Childress going 1-1 in pool play, beating Fort Elliott (25-11, 25-18) and falling to Miami (25-22, 21-25, 10-15). In bracket play, the Lady Indians lost their first match against Littlefield, won against Perryton (25-15, 25-23) but then lost to Wildorado (22-25, 21-25) in the consolation match.
The Lady Indians return home tonight for their first district game against Vernon Northside starting at 4:00 p.m.
Paducah
The Lady Dragons played in the Crossroads Classic Tournament in Childress on September 2-4. The Lady Dragons dropped all of their pool play games before starting bracket play on Saturday. The team has their first district game tonight on the road against Crowell at 5:00 p.m.
Memphis
The Lady Cyclones started the week with a big 5-set road win on Tuesday August 31 vs. Crowell (25-23, 23-25, 25-22, 21-25, 15-8) They then played in the Crossroads Classic Tournament in Childress, losing their pool play matches before entering bracket play on Saturday. Memphis will play in the Vernon JV Tournament this Saturday, September 11.
Vernon
The Lady Lion faced Cache, OK on Tuesday, August 31 at home, falling in 3 sets. After having a bye over the weekend, Vernon is back in action tonight at home against Wichita Falls High School at 5:00 p.m.
Crowell
The Lady Cats had a tough loss to Memphis on Tuesday, August 31 in 5 sets (23-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 8-15). After having the weekend off, they open district at home tonight vs Paducah at 5:00 p.m.
