The Wellington Lady Rocket basketball team opened the season at home with a big 45 to 31 win over 3A Spearman. JV girls fell in the first game by a final score of 15 to 27.

The Lady Rockets will travel to Randall for a 6 PM game on Saturday against Claude. The JV Lady Rockets will play in the Tascosa JV tourney starting on Thursday.
