The Childress Fire Department will be hosting a live music event in Childress Fair Park starting at 6 PM on May 20. There will also be free hotdogs, nachos and bottled water while supplies last. The event will be in the open grassy area north of the Rotary Bowl, so bring you own lawn chairs.
Musicians featured will be Childress Fire Department’s own Jim Lile on vocals and rhythm guitar, Roger Adams on bass guitar, and Callie Saunders on the drums. Special guest on the lead guitar will be Ed Campbell.
If you are a musician and want to play a few songs, bring your instrument, voice or what ever you want and show case your talent. You can play alone or the boys will do their best to accompany you with their instruments.There is absolutely no charge to take the stage.
This fund raising event (by donations) is sponsored by the Childress Fire Department, and there is no charge to attend. All proceeds will go directly to the Childress Fire Department for equipment, education, supplies, etc. that is needed.
