Free Winter Concert featuring the Eine Kleine Girlmusik ensemble to be held at WOSC Feb. 21

The Friends of Western Oklahoma State College Performing Arts is hosting the popular women’s community vocal music ensemble for a Winter Concert on Tuesday, February 21 at 7 PM in the WOSC Fine Arts Complex Band Hall in Altus.
The free concert will feature the Eine Kleine Girlmusik ensemble under the direction of the outstanding choral conducting skills of well-known musician Donna Tucker. Tucker is the founder, artistic director and choral director for the ensemble.
Kris Dykens will be the piano accompanist. Dykens is well known for her dedication to music and piano skills as the accompanist for the Altus High School Choral Music performances.
Additional features of the concert will be a flute duet with Claire Grooms and Mary Runyan, a vocal quartet featuring ensemble members Kathy Bayers, Darlene Johnson, Lynette Kennellly and Sarah Ringer, a vocal duet featuring chorus members Akemi Maxwell and Robyn Wood and a trumpet and violin duet with Chelsea and Elliot Farr.
Chorus members of the Eine Kline Girlmusik are Kathy Bayers, Kay Bartlett, Stephanie Bassett, Evelyn Barthold, Barbara Brinkman, Mitsi Bullington, Catherine Coke, Nancy Cox, Kim Glunz, Charlotte Howard, Loraine Hubbard, Darlene Johnson, Jan Johnson, Lynette Kennelly, Akemi Maxwell, Opal Norris, Diane Roach, Mary Runyan, Gloria Rustman, Cindy Stitt, Margie Van Oostrum, Connie Vaughan, Linda Walker and Robyn Woods.
Funding for the concert is provided by the WOSC Foundation Friends of WOSC Performing Arts. The concert is free and open to the public.
