Get the facts about fentanyl poisoning and hear from expert at ‘Hidden in Plain Sight’ event at Altus Community Center

ALTUS, OK – Fentanyl poisoning has quickly and quietly become the leading cause of death among adults ages 18-45. On April 2 at 3:30 PM there will be a “Hidden in Plain Sight” presentation at the Altus Community Center.
Come hear the story of Reggie Martin, former Oklahoma State University football player and Peer Recovery Support Specialist, witness a live “bait” demonstration with Altus Police Officer Deante Harris and Canine Officer Kevlar, hear information regarding fentanyl and other drugs within our community by Altus Police Officer Allen Collins, and hear from a panel of experts ready to answer your questions regarding substance use. Experts will include local law enforcement and the City Attorney, professionals from statewide substance use treatment facilities, and members of the recovery.
