ALTUS, OK – Everyone is invited to hear Oklahoma’s Poet Laureate Jay Snider on Tuesday, April 4 at 7 PM at the Museum of the Western Prairie in Altus. Snider is an award-winning cowboy poet and recording artist. Come out and hear him recite his poetry which celebrates his love for western heritage and the cowboy way of life. This event is being hosted by the Western Trail Historical Society. If you miss Tuesday’s event, Snider will be at the Altus Public Library at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 5.
