The first ever Red River Shoot Out Feral Hog Hunt will be held March 3 and 4 in Frederick. Get a team together and support this new event to benefit the Mary Massad Memorial Endowment benefiting the Tillman County Food Bank.
Texas Hunters are also welcome to participate, but only dead hogs may be legally transported across state lines. All Oklahoma laws apply.
There will be cash payouts, belt buckles, door prizes and more. There will also be a chili supper and reading of the rules and calcutta at 6 PM on March 3 at the Tillman County Food Bank, 901 N. 15th in Frederick. Registration will be from 6 to 8 PM with the dinner at 7 PM. At least one member of each team must be present for rules. This is a sporting competition with restrictions. This will be a legal daytime only hunt. no dogs and no night scopes.
