A special meeting of the Altus School Board will be held Thursday, February 16 at 12 PM at the Administrative Center to consider and take necessary action to approve Jeremy Reed as the new Altus High School Head Football Coach effective Febraury 16 with other duties to be determined.
Reed, a former Altus High School head football coach for two years, left Altus in 2016 to take a head coaching position in Arkansas. While in Altus, Reed compiled a 21-4 record and led the Bulldogs to their first state title in 44 years.
Also on Thursday’s agenda is to hire Reed’s wife Brooke as a certfied teacher for the district affective August 3.
