USDA designates 92 Texas counties, 13 Oklahoma counties as Primary Natural Disaster Areas

The United States Department of Agriculture has designated 92 Texas counties and 13 Oklahoma counties as Primary Natural Disaster Areas. This Secretarial natural disaster designation allows the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) to extend much-needed emergency credit to producers recovering from natural disasters through emergency loans.
Primary Texas counties eligible include: Briscoe, Childress, and Wilbarger. Primary Oklahoma counties eligible include: Beckham, Jackson, Tillman, and Harmon.
Contiguous Texas counties also eligible include: Collingsworth, and Knox counties.
Emergency loans can be used to meet various recovery needs including the replacement of essential items such as equipment or livestock, reorganization of a farming operation or the refinance of certain debts.
The FSA will review the loans based on the extent of losses, security available and repayment ability.
