A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 9 AM for Childress, Collingsworth, Cottle, Hall and Hardeman Counties. A wintery mix with ice accumulations between one and two tenths of an inch near and eaast of the edge of the Caprock Escarpment, with lesser amounts impacting the South Plains, portions of the Rolling Plalins and the far southeast Texas Panhandle. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions and beware of black ice. Power outages are possible.
